January 25th, 2013 - SOEC Announces Third Deal in the last 8 months 
Southern Ohio Energy Consultants representing the "Watertown Landowner Group" of Watertown, Waterford, & Palmer townships in Washington County, OHIO have reached an agreement with DUX Petroleum of Lubbock, Texas. After considering offers from several different oil and gas companies, the landowners of the "Watertown Landowner Group" accepted the DUX Petroleum offer after much negotiation on terms, bonus, and royalty. SOEC is pleased to annouce that DUX Petroleum will also pay their 1% commission so the landowners will truely recieve $4050 per net mineral acre. Additional highlights of the deal as follows:

  • Primary Term: $4050/acre and 18% gross royalty (5 years)
  • Extension Term: $4050/acre and 18% gross royalty (3 years)
  • Pure Pugh Clause
  • 640 acre maximum horizontal unit size
  • 40 acre maximum vertical unit size
  • Well pad and non-well pad damage fees
  • Shut-in limitations 
  • No injection wells, compressor sites, gas storage, taking water from premises
